What are confined spaces?
Confined spaces are dangerous enclosed areas (though not always entirely). These areas are dangerous due to various hazards and risks which will be covered during the online confined spaces course. Numerous people are killed and/or seriously injured in confined spaces each year. Those killed include people working in the confined space and those who try to rescue them. Anyone working in confined spaces should have the required skills, knowledge, and training to keep themselves and others safe.
Who should take the course?
This online course is an awareness training course suitable for anybody who works in a confined space. This qualification is also ideal for people working in high, medium, or low risk confined spaces as a general introduction to confined spaces. Awareness training, such as this online course, helps to identify and reduce hazards and risks. But it is key to note that additional context specific information or training may be necessary given the tasks you perform and the environment in which you operate. Learners must be 16 or over.
Aims of the course
The aim of this online course is to provide learners with an understanding of confined spaces and how to work safely according to current legislations.
