Summary
The NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Construction Senior Management (QCF) is the most advanced vocational qualification across the construction industry in the UK. In Construction Management this qualification is equivalent to a Postgraduate Degree (PGDip).
Gaining this qualification will provide the opportunity for senior professionals to enhance their careers by becoming a Chartered Member (MCIOB) of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) as well as gaining a Black Managers’ CSCS Card.
Entry
This is a qualification that is specifically intended for existing Senior Site/ Project Managers, Policy makers and Company Directors functioning in the construction industry. It is essential to hold past project management experience in order to achieve this qualification.
All candidates will need to complete an initial assessment before enrolment in which they must demonstrate the ability to meet the requirements of the qualification.
Assessment
In order to achieve this qualification all candidates will be assessed via OSAT (On-Site Assessment and Training) which will take place at our learners’ workplaces. This is an advantage as candidates will not be required to attend any classes, workshops or take time off work. The number of site visits made by the assessor will depend on the experience, interest and availability of the candidates.
The candidates will be allocated an expert assessor who will support them during the course and carry out all the necessary assessment procedures required in order to successfully gain the qualification. The complete process will consist of a range of communication methods and evidence collection processes tailored around the individua learner needs. Our assessors will support candidates in the process of gathering all the required evidence to assemble the essential Portfolio of evidence.
Duration
The duration of the course will heavily depend on the candidates’ interest, motivation and availability. For NVQ Level 7 the minimum length of the assessments from the candidate’s registration to the actual achievement of the NVQ is within 6-24 months.

The Awarding Body for this qualification is ProQual Awarding Body. Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded:
Ø Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management (QCF) valid for the life.
Ø Black Managers’ CSCS Card valid for 5 years
